Music Monday Reveals New Musical Talent: Dan Rodman

Happy Music Monday! I know Monday’s can be rough – but I have something that may just turn your week around.

It turns out – that one of my friends from high school – with a voice that plays a rather close second fiddle to the power of Christina Aguilera fused with the tonality and pureness of Adele, has a brother that is currently dedicating his life to music. And while I always thought this friend should pursue music as a career – I am at least happy that the musical genes run in the family and that they are being put to good use as intended. His name is Dan Rodman; (you can visit his webpage here)…and as you enter the site, the rhythmic strumming of the guitar sounds, seemingly vibrating off the screen – you are instantly roped in – (a genius marketing ploy if you ask me).

His voice is something of a Jason Mraz but with some stronger undertones combined with poetic and self-reflective lyrics… matched with that guitar that sounds like the stuff of a musical prodigy of sorts (in my opinion at least).

So if you are the slightest bit intrigued at this point – as I hope you are! – check out his new album “Tree of Lights.” The coolest part? He set it up so that you can enter whatever amount you wish to pay! In other words – you can buy this album for $1.00 or a $100 – it’s up to you. Insert – genius marketing ploy 2x.
